Heartblanch is a Ukranian indie band currently based in San Francisco.

Formed at 2006 in Kiev they started with shows in the major local clubs and now produced and released their first album from California. Their sound is pronouncedly dry. Vocals are unique and have definite British flavor to them a bit indifferent and snarky as well. The guitar riffs are grungy with a smooth melody responsive to the vocals and lyrics accenting the story of the song. It is wrapped and driven by sonorous and distinct drums with dense and strong base riffs.

At www.gargageband.com, the Like You single received three awards for Best Guitars, Best Drums and Best Mood in the Indie Rock category for the weeks of February 2nd and 9th, 2009.
