Last night was the opening night of Iceland Airwaves 2009. 38 Bands played at 6 different venues from 19:30 to ca. 1:00 a.m. Among the first night’s bands were Reykjavík!, Sudden Waether Change, Spaceman, Hoffman, Poetrix, Mikado and Sing For Me Sandra. The festival is now in it’s 11th year and going strong! The festival continues through the weekend ending on Sunday the 18th of October.
